Set in beautiful surroundings, this 2AA Rosette hotel is looking to recruit an ambitious Pastry Sous Chef to join the brigade. You will be an integral part of the team assistingthe Head Chefto create exquisite cuisine.
The style of food is Classic British Cuisine with a modern outlook. Using locally sorced fresh ingriedients, you will be creating dishes with a depth of flavour and exceptional flare. A key focus of your role will be to share your passion for food and cooking, and develop your skills to produce the exeptional dishes they create.
Main Duties
Plan and oversee day to day running of the kitchen under Head Chef
Supervise and lead the team
Maintain a high level of hygiene standards
Take orders from Head Chef and delagate tasks to Commis, Demi Chefs and Chef de Parties
Conduct daily line inspections to ensure quality is maintained
Requirements
Ideally Levels 2&3 NVQ
Expierience in Michelin Star or Rosette Property at Sous Chef level.
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety
Good written and verbal English
Hotel or Restaurant background
COSHH Knowledge
