Reservationist

How about working in a large country house hotel who offer a luxury product? This parkland venue is a destination itself not to mention in close proximity to the River Thames, London, Royal Ascot and Windsor.

As a hotel reservationist you will ensure the daily input and procedures are carried out efficiently for the reservations department by handling all reservation enquires and bookings in the correct and professional manner. You will be responsible for the accurate loading and administration of both group and individual reservations and events while maximising sales through proactive selling.

You will be responsible for...

The day-to-day loading of Reservations, maintaining high levels of guest service and departmental standards. Ensuring that each call is answered to the required company standards
?Completion of daily, weekly and monthly checklist as required
?Building relationships with other departments of the hotel to ensure the effective communication of any guest requested and event information
?Ensuring you maintain a high level of product knowledge within the hotel and an in-depth understanding of the local business environment to ensure that you are aware of the competitor hotels and what the offer
?Ensuring a sales attitude and excellent customer service levels are adopted at all times
?Effective communication within the departmental meetings on a daily basis
?Maintaining and updating guest information into the Reservations and Events System to the highest levels of detail
?To review room allocation on a daily basis and ensure that the correct rooms are allocated to the VIPS and guest according to correspondence and requests
?To have a full understanding of all rates, packages and special promotions.
?To have a full understanding of all the room types, location, views, configurations and hotel facilities.
?To enter and monitor all reservations into the Hotel computer system, ensuring correct and up to date information.

?Proven experience in a similar role
?Proven IT skills
?A passion for hospitality
?The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the team.
?An excellent telephone and customer service manners with the ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
?The ability to complete all required tasks within the given deadlines with attention to detail.
